SASSA has officially announced the payment date for SASSA Child Support Grant February 2025. In February 2025 payment dates for children’s grants, the Foster Child and Child Support Grant will be processed on 6 February on Thursday. All approved beneficiaries of SASSA child grants can expect to receive their payments on the scheduled SASSA dates.
6 February Payment Date for SASSA Child Support Grant
For February 2025, SASSA payment schedule commences the child support grant distribution on 6 February 2025 and includes any linked grants on the same payday. Beneficiaries of the child support grant and foster child grant can confirm their SASSA status online for February month and receive verification for the approved grant.
SASSA disbursed the R530 payment amount for the child support grant beneficiaries and paid the R250 top-up as additional support. Caretakers of Foster child grant beneficiaries will receive an amount of R1,180.
SASSA ensures grants are paid directly into bank accounts on the scheduled payment dates and advises beneficiaries to check their banking details are accurate to prevent any delays in receiving their funds. Bank transactions take 2 days for the grant payments to reflect in the beneficiary’s bank account once processed successfully for February 2025 financial support.

Once your grant status shows “February 2025 approved” you will be paid for the month and receive your full grant on 6 February, as per the payment schedule for the distribution of SASSA child support grant payments.
