SASSA R350 Grant Payment Dates for December 2024
Sassa R350 grant payment dates for Social Relief of Distress (SRD) beneficiaries have been scheduled from Wednesday 18 December to Sunday 22 December 2024.

Beneficiaries are advised to check SASSA status for December 2024 to ensure grant payments have been approved for the month. SASSA only pays eligible beneficiaries with approved grant status, which confirms that you will be paid for December 2024.
Checking Sassa payment status applies to all grant recipients, including the Old Age Grant, War Veterans Grant, Disability Grant, Care Dependency Grant, Child Support Grant, Foster Child Grant, Grant-in-Aid, and the SRD R350 Grant.
Important Note

Where to Collect and Withdraw Your Grant Payments
SASSA beneficiaries will receive the approved grant funds in bank accounts on the scheduled dates. Funds will remain in the account until accessed, so there is no need to rush to withdraw on the first day.
If you have not linked your bank account, access the ‘Change Banking Details SASSA‘ process to update your payment method. This allows SASSA to deposit your grant money directly into your linked bank account every month.
Approved beneficiaries without a bank account can collect their grant amounts at major retail stores like Checkers, Boxer, Shoprite, and Pick n Pay. These stores partner with SASSA to make grant collection convenient and accessible across South Africa.
If you are using a SASSA Gold Card you can continue to access your funds for December 2024, as the cards remain valid. Payments can also be withdrawn at designated pay points and ATMs.
Important Announcement for SASSA Card Holders
Postbank has confirmed that beneficiaries can continue using their SASSA Gold Cards beyond December 2024.
Bongani Diako, Postbank spokesperson stated, In the new year, Postbank will begin issuing Black Cards, but your Gold Cards will continue to function until replaced by the new Black Cards.
