Processing and Release of January 2026 SRD R370 Payments
Your approved R370 grant paid directly into your linked bank account. SASSA releases the funds on the scheduled payment dates for SRD R370 grant, but your bank may take up to two business days to show the money in your account.
If you updated your banking information after 19 December 2025, your new account might still be going through verification. This means your January payment will go to your old bank account to avoid any delays.
SASSA also allows beneficiaries without a bank account to collect their grant money in cash at the nearest Post Office branch or at participating stores, including Boxer, Shoprite, Pick n Pay, Spar, and USave, across the country.
