      To apply for an increased SASSA allowance beyond the R350 grant you currently receive, follow these steps:

      1. Visit the nearest SASSA office.
      2. Bring these required documents:
      – Your 13-digit bar-coded identity document (ID).
      – Proof of marital status and spouse’s identity, if applicable.
      – A medical report or assessment report (less than three months old) indicating the need for full-time care.
      3. Complete the application form.
      4. The SASSA Officer will interview you to determine your eligibility for the grant.
      5. After applying, you will receive a receipt as proof of your application.

      Please Note:
      Only you as the beneficiary or an SASSA official may fill out the form for you.

      Important Notice:
