- You will receive a 6-digit OTP code in a message on your cell phone number.
- Agree to the Terms and Conditions for Declaration and Consent Document Rules.
- Provide your South African ID if you are a citizen, and File Number or Green Book Number if you are a Special Permit holder.
- Complete the screening questions and fill in all the fields correctly, including Name, Surname, Gender, Address, Income, and Job status.
- Add your banking details for the payment option (Bank Name, Branch, Account Type), or select one of SASSA-partnered retail stores for “Send Cash.”
- Submit your complete SASSA SRD R370 grant application form using your preferred payment method.
- SASSA verifies and processes your application and banking details from the Department of Home Affairs database.
- You will receive a SASSA confirmation message on your registered mobile phone number confirming your SRD R370 grant is active and approved.
- Asylum Seekers and Special Permit holders will be sent a Payment ID to collect the approved SRD grant payment at Pick ‘n Pay or other preferred retail stores.
