SASSA R350 Grant Payment Dates for January 2025
SASSA R350 grant payments for Social Relief of Distress (SRD) beneficiaries are scheduled from Monday, 27 January to Friday, 31 January 2025.
SRD grant beneficiaries must check SRD status online to confirm approval for January 2025 payments. Checking your online Sassa status will confirm approved grant payments and funds for the approved grants will be deposited directly into beneficiaries’ bank accounts on the exact scheduled payday.

SASSA beneficiaries can receive the approved grant funds in bank accounts on the scheduled dates. Approved funds will be deposited directly into your linked bank account. Funds will remain accessible until withdrawn, so there is no need to rush on the first day.

Important Announcement for SASSA Card Holders
Postbank has confirmed that beneficiaries can continue using their SASSA Gold Cards beyond January 2025. Bongani Diako, Postbank spokesperson, stated:
“In the new year, Postbank will begin issuing Black Cards and Gold Cards will remain functional until replaced by the new Black Cards.”
